Joanne is a visionary leader in the social services and wellness sector, known for her dedication to improving lives and creating lasting change. As the founding Executive Director of The Enrichment Centre, co-founder of Elite Wellness Medical Centre, and co-founder of the Lonsdale Treatment Centre, she has made a significant impact in her field.
Joanne’s career began with a Social Service Work diploma from Cambrian College in 2012. She later founded a life skills program for young adults with developmental disabilities in 2013, which expanded to multiple locations. Recognizing the need for support for children facing behavioral, trauma, and addiction challenges, she broadened her services in 2018, focusing on early intervention and emotional well-being. In 2023, she established a 22,292 square foot wellness campus offering comprehensive services for individuals of all ages.
In 2019, Joanne partnered with Lisa Parise to launch a family-centered medical clinic and treatment center for children and youth, focusing on behavior management, trauma recovery, and addiction care, all with a compassionate, family-focused approach.

In 2017, Lisa decided to advance her career and pursued her Nurse Practitioner (NP) credentials while working in the ER during the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2020, she graduated with a Master of Science in Nursing and a Postgraduate Diploma in Primary Care-Nurse Practitioner. Since becoming an NP, Lisa has worked with several local healthcare organizations, including NELHIN in Palliative Care and Wahnapitae First Nation. Now, she is ready to open her own private medical centre to address the primary healthcare shortage in Sudbury and surrounding areas.

Arun Thankachan is a dedicated Registered Social Worker with five years of experience in addiction and mental health settings across Greater Sudbury, Canada. His expertise includes providing assessments, therapies, and counseling for individuals dealing with addiction, developing personalized service plans, and working with marginalized and at-risk populations. Arun has also worked as a Crisis Social Worker at Health Sciences North, focusing on crisis intervention and follow-up care. His international experience includes serving as a Social Worker Supervisor with UNICEF, advocating for children's rights and well-being. Arun holds a Master’s in Social Work, a Bachelor’s in Commerce, and a Post-Graduation Diploma in Addictions and Mental Health. He is trained in trauma-informed care, nonviolent crisis intervention, and first aid/CPR. With a passion for creating positive change, Arun combines clinical expertise, cultural sensitivity, and strong advocacy to support individuals in need.

After graduating from the Mental Health & Addictions program at Cambrian College, he felt a strong responsibility to support individuals, especially vulnerable populations like children and adolescents. Although he has not yet registered to practice medicine in Canada, he brings a wealth of experience from his residency in the Psychiatry Department in his home country. His background allows his to blend the medical knowledge he gained with the skills he developed during his post-graduate studies in Mental Health & Addictions.
He is committed to ongoing learning and supervision, ensuring that he stays updated on the latest research and guidelines to provide the best care for his clients. He finds it incredibly rewarding to witness the progress of the children he works with, and that’s why he’s passionate about what he does!
Josh is a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario and a professional member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association. He holds a Master’s Degree in Applied Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology, along with an Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, all from Laurentia

With 15 years of experience in the Mental Health and Addictions field, Josh has worked with individuals, couples, families, and groups from diverse backgrounds.
As a Métis, he has worked for six years as a Mental Health Therapist at an Indigenous Community Health Centre, and now provides virtual care across Canada. He uses a holistic, client-centered, and values-based approach to help clients work through challenges and achieve personalized goals. Josh also has certified training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Insomnia, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Trauma-Informed Care, and Indigenous mental health.
In his free time, Josh enjoys spending time at the cottage with his family and three Siberian Huskies, and values balance in life as an avid outdoorsman.
